First, you need to know what the said supplier's reputation is. Remember that you should only be dealing with suppliers with a positive reputation. This positive reputation is a proof that the said supplier provides quality goods, after all. You need to avoid suppliers that possess a negative reputation for this deal.

Do not forget to ask about the contract. If you can, you should ask for a copy of this beforehand. This does not mean that you will be putting your signature on it right away. You should only do that when you have read through the contract and understood its content. Otherwise, you might be put at a disadvantage.

There is also the schedule of delivery. As much as possible, you should ensure that the delivery of the goods match with the pace by which the store is selling the said merchandise. If the schedule of delivery is too fast or too slow, then that would be a problem for you. You have to make changes accordingly.

You will also have to negotiate when it comes to the price. Every supplier has different price tags attached to the items. Negotiate if you do not agree to that price or look for another supplier.
