Advantages And Disadvantages Of Motorized Awnings

By Anita Ortega

These days you should have something to protect the house from too much exposure of the sun.Awning installation in Pittsburgh pa had been very prominent nowadays considering that the climate is changing without any further notice that we cannot even predict when will be the sun can cause too much hotness in a certain place.

There are two types of it which involves energy and convenience. The first one is the manual in which from the world itself the traditional one and the other is the motorized which usually ran by electricity. Today, due to technological advancement and ease of usage, people prefer the latter than the former.

So if you are planning to have the former then you should know the benefits and the negative you could get. In this way you could really decide on which one you really be needing and which one is just another expense in your business or home improvement. These things can just be consider or ignored though.

The very obvious is its ease of use, For you will no longer exert to much effort for the pulling and installing it everytime you want to use it. It will no longer waste your time also because you can do multi tasking. Instead of spending too much time for the installation, by simply pushing the button, you can do some things which are more important.

Most of the awnings are made of fabric and it is not good if they will be torn just because of your carelessness. This is why you really need to get the motorized one if you are having problems with controlling your movements. Notice that whenever we are anxious, angry or in a hurry, we tend to be so hard which can affect the awning and cause it to tear itself. In the motorized it is more controlled for it does not involve human force.

But the only thing is that it consumes electricity and this means that you will be adding another bucks just for this one. Considering that there are another expenditures that you might need to focus on. Another thing is that during power outage, you cannot use it not unless you have a generator or it is solar powered.

One more thing is that if it is damaged you will really need to call someone to have it checked. Unlike the manual in which you can surely check it by yourself and fix it without worrying of destroying any part. And you can still use it even if there is or there is no electricity available in your area and you will not pay for additional bills.

Another thing is that it is very expensive compared to the manual. And the maintenance can be costly. And since it is motor powered, just expect that within a year damage will always occur whether it is major or minor. Compared to the manual that if you will only just be careful with its usage, you will not be expecting any damages because you are the one who is controlling the awning and not the electricity nor the motor nor the button.
