University Student Life - 10 Tips For Living Away From Home

By Carl Messenger-Lehmann

Attending University is an exciting and sometimes stressful time for many students. For many, it's the first time they've been away from home living independently. To make sure you're successful both educationally and personally, be purposeful about your student life and follow these 10 tips for living away from home.

There have also been studies showing that looking at nature creates a reduction in stress and has a calming and relaxing effect. This in turn can cause an increase in memory retention and concentration. What university student wouldn't want nature's help in producing higher quality work? Plant life can also have a positive effect on your mental health. Beautiful landscapes are associated with a higher quality of life. Observing the beauty of nature can help you have a positive outlook on life. Braided Ficus Tree - because of our high ceilings and spacious interiors, these trees are a perfect fit. Only needing water every 2-3 days, it will live happily in the corner of a room with a window for some indirect sunlight. Cacti - one of the easiest indoor plants to care for, they come in many shapes and sizes. Keep them in a window for plenty of sunlight to get through and do not water until the pot is dry. Succulent - the perfect plant for a beginner, they are practically indestructible. They need indirect sunlight and because they store water similar to the cacti, you only need to water them once every other month.

Be intentional about making friends who share the same interests and values. Your friends become your family, so choose friends who will help and support you, but who will be fun to hang out with too. Organize your time. There's no one to tell you what to do and when, so get a day planner or use your phone to make a schedule. Between classes, studying, work, and meetings, you need to be organized to be successful.

Relaxing: When it's been a long day of exams and you just want to sit back and relax, do so in our 45 seat movie theatre in front of the 220″ movie screen. The HD projector and surround sound are sure to aid in immersing you in the plot of the movie, helping the day melt away.
